So,I haven’t blog for the longest time. I’ve been meaning to but life seems to wander off..But I’m ok now. Besides,no one likes to know about my whereabouts as well..lol Anyhow..Gents, have you thought about a special gifts for her this Valentines day? It’s a few weeks from now and you wouldn’t wanna miss out this special day!I was just hopping around and looking simple for the husband too;-)

I’m sure all of you out there are busy buying stuff! After all, this is the season to do some shopping! As long as you have the money to burn, why not eh? I still have to complete the gifts for all my godsons and goddaughter’s! So, I’m actually in the look out for some Best Buy online. I need cheaper items because of my limited budget. I’m sure I can find what I’m looking for as long as I have enough time…

Are you a woman who loves to wear pretty shoes? Or a guy who wants the latest from “GQ” on your feet–no matter what? If so, your shoe habit could be causing you some pain.

A recent study of more than 3,000 men and women shows that those who went for function over form in their footwear early on–suffered half as much foot pain in later years, “The New York Times” reports.

Here are some tips for choosing shoes that will preserve your feet–yet still let you walk in style.

1. Make sure that the shoe truly fits. Get your foot measured each time you go to buy shoes. Make sure you have each foot measured (you may have one foot that is longer than the other).

2. Pay attention to the width of the shoe, because styles vary. For example, if you have wide feet you may need to get shoes created with that in mind. In the United States, these sizes are usually denoted with the letter “W” after the size.

3. Try on each shoe with the type of socks you plan on wearing. The socks you wear could very much affect the fit. For example, if I were to buy hiking boots I’d be sure to put on my hiking socks when going for a fitting.

4. You don’t need to sacrifice style for comfort. Some shoe companies, such as Ecco and Naturalizer, specialize in creating fashionable shoes that are also comfortable.

5. Consider the size of the heel. Part of the problem with some shoes is that the heel is so high that it places extra stress on certain points of the foot. Over time, more severe foot problems can develop. Save the high heels for special occasions.

6. Choose shoes that are appropriate for the situation. For example, wearing high-heel boots while walking a total of 7 miles through the streets of London is not exactly ideal (true story). I should have worn sneakers or comfortable walking shoes. I was in pain for the rest of the vacation. Learn from my mistake!

..and I’m giddy excited because the husband will be home earlier! I haven’t planned on where we will go yet because he said we still have a few weeks for bookings. We aren’t going far of course but we will be home with my parents down south for a reunion! I’m sure it will be a blast! I am thinking of starting to collect holiday cards so that I can send all of them for our relatives abroad and in other parts of the country earlier:) How about you?

If you have little ones in the house specially if they are starting to crawl and all, we parents have to make sure that we do all the necessary baby proofing! I know for sure because I have 2 little ones and my youngest is a 20 months old toddler who runs around the house and eats everything he can grasp! I remember when he was at his 8 to 12 months age. He loves to eat everything he can see. Actually up until now..the only thing with his age now is he can climb the stares and can only understand simple instructions. I’m not sure when was the last time I was talking about how much I really needed a shopping day here! It has been a while. I ban myself out for months now into shopping. I do look around when I visit the mall near our place but with tons of things to do around me, I don’t have much time to spend a day wading through and looking for clothes for myself. I think, it’s because I have tons of stuff in my plate these days. But I need my “ME’ time! The soonest the better!:) So today, since it’s holiday and no class for my little boy in school. I think I can have a time for myself online. As I was looking through clothing and all. I stumbled upon Zappos and fell in love with their this read flannel skirt and a pair of shoes that would go perfectly for a dinner out with some friends. What do you think? My youngest is growing up like a sprout! Yes, really it’s true. I just haven’t had the chance to post photos of him here. He’s wearing most of his 3 to 4 years old clothes of his big brother! Can you imagine that! hehe That’s why, when I buy new clothing for him it should be bigger and can last at least a month or so for him. One time when we were out in my in-laws place, a friend of the family asked if he goes to nursery already..He’s just bigger with his age alright. They were shocked that he’s still 20 months old! He’s so different with his big brother growing up. So anyway, I am in the look out for kids clothes and I am happy I saw nice clothing lines over at Zappos. They have affordable ones and branded clothes as well. I am thinking of getting both boys early clothes for the coming vacation to my parents down south. We’ll see..Right now, I am checking out the boys clothes and boys clothing. My youngest needs to have a new shirts or perhaps new sleeping attires. And I need new shirts and shorts for my eldest as well. This boys are growing up fast..sigh..time does fly!

Most of my old best friends now are married. Actually, I never got to attend another friend wedding a week ago because I was still in my vacation. I wished I attended though because most of my other pals said it was amazing seeing our old friends. But then again, I had important priorities that time. I know they understand as well. But one of my best friend is still in the boyfriend and girlfriend stage and who knows they will get engaged soon. I’ve been looking at this beautiful engagement rings and my..they are to drool for! And I’m sure some of you or well, mostly spends tons of money for those unnessesary things. I’m speaking for myself actually;) I should really convince myself that I can save something out of the things I do online. I do buy a lot of things and sometimes it’s not really nice anymore. I am totally guilty as charged! hehe The husband knows about  it though and he’s been very supportive of me. I’m just lucky enough he doesn’t say anything bad about it but I really should try…I can do this. A friend of mine dropped here in the house later this afternoon to bond a bit and then well, talk a lot of things. She knows that I arrived yesterday. I’m going to take a trip this weekend and it means that I need to get ready my luggage! The one that I brought with me was big enough for my things but then I will bring along a few of my old stuff because I don’t want to buy a lot of things back there. So, I’m thinking of  using the husband’s luggage but he’s off for another travel next week too! I wish I bring the other luggage back home. Sigh..Now, I will look around and see if I can still get one online. I found this hartmann luggage and tumi luggage very affordable. And since I will be leaving this weekend and there will be no enough time to wait. So, I asked the husband if he can wait it and I will just bring the huge blue luggage instead. I also saw this briggs and riley luggage and I think the husband will like this!
